BJE Hubs
A vibrant after-school Jewish enrichment experience providing a warm, engaging and safe environment, located in Bondi & Randwick.
BJE Hubs are an approved out-of-school-hours-care provider and families are eligible for the childcare subsidy.
BJE Hubs provide an inclusive environment where children can connect with their Jewish identity through hands-on learning and fun activities. Each day is designed to be joyful, meaningful and rooted in Jewish values.
What are the BJE Hubs?
The BJE Hubs are a weekly after-school program for students. These Hubs offer a safe space for children to connect with their Jewish heritage through engaging activities, delicious snacks and the support of passionate educators.
Our goal is to help every child discover joy in their Jewish journey, while feeling part of a supportive and welcoming community.
Each week,
children enjoy:
Healthy after-school snacks to recharge
New friendships, creativity and a strong sense of belonging
A respectful space that honours each family's unique religious practices and values
Fun and meaningful Jewish cultural activities (e.g., shofar blowing, matzah baking, Shavuot cheesecake making, apples & honey)
Where are the BJE Hubs
We currently run Hubs in the following locations:
BJE Hub Bondi
Mondays and Thursdays
BJE Hub Randwick
Wednesdays
Our Approach: A Rich and Diverse Journey
Through the Hubs, students build strong connections—with each other and with the broader community.
They engage in activities that encourage kindness and care, including creating letters and gifts for organisations such as COA and Montefiore. This nurtures empathy and helps shape a generation grounded in Jewish values and compassion.
We also maintain the highest standards in child safety, ensuring that parents can feel confident knowing their children are learning and growing in a secure and nurturing environment.
Our Team
Our Hub staff act as guides and mentors through your child’s Jewish Journey by sparking curiosity and encouraging learning. They bring a diverse mix of experience, passion and warmth, creating meaningful connections with each student.
